No More Granny Squares!
I have finished!!! All 381 Granny squares have been made, and I have even pinned them together to see what it will look like. :) I was tempted to show you a photo, but think I'll wait for the finished piece.
The only problem now is that I have no idea how best to stitch them together. Should I buy some material to sew them to? Or leave it as the one layer of Granny squares? I keep oscillating between these two possibilities. Aargh!
In other news, I baked some little cakes today. They're for the homeless drop-in tomorrow. I'm thinking of baking a similar big cake for a certain fairy's birthday. Hoorah!
Oh, and I also accidentally went to Tesco in my slippers when I ran out of pins. Luckily, I wasn't asked to leave, unlike this man and this woman. Maybe he should have tried slippers and she should have tried wearing a large coat like mine over her pyjamas? I wasn't wearing pyjamas but I'm pretty sure nobody would have noticed underneath that monster of a coat! :P
