Endless Crochet & A Prayer
It seems all I do at the moment is crochet these flipping Granny squares! I have also listened to a recorded sermon and read some friends' writings (it's about time, I know!), today, but mostly I've been making Granny squares until my hands ache. If I don't finish making them soon, you'll all be as bored as I am of the project - that is, if you're not already. :P
Luckily for you and I, the end is getting near...
- 19 black squares,
- 78 dark blue squares,
- 28 light blue squares,
- 0 pink squares
- 0 white squares
- (125 in total)
I reckon I can make another 25 before the weekend. Then I only need 20 during the weekend to hit the next target. And if I manage that, I can easily make the last 80 square in seven days! Hurrah!!!
And then it gets interesting... if my hands aren't totally ruined by then, that is! :S
Now that that little moan is over, let's finish with something more positive. There's a lot of spiritual thought and development going on inside me currently, as a few plans formulate themselves, and I want to share a prayer I heard today that I've found really inspirational.
Almighty God,
In Christ, You make all things new.
Transform the poverty of our nature
By the riches of Your grace,
And in the renewal of our lives,
Make known Your Heavenly Glory.
