Weekend Word Count Updates
Yesterday was an excellent day for writing! I did really well in the afternoon, and then was inspired in the evening to increase my word count by about 1.5k more, which was just fab! This inspired me to keep going today when I struggled initially, but the words started to flow eventually, which was good. :)
The story has been loads of fun to write so far - and tomorrow it looks likely to becomes even more fun! That's because I'll get to write what could well turn out to be the most amusing scene of the story. Yay!

And so, what's next? Well, like I just said, first of all I have to write a highly amusing scene, which is going to be great fun. The other good thing about that scene is that it should push the plot on to the next stage, but what that involves precisely, I'm not entirely sure. The story has flowed quite smoothly so far, so I'm not too worried about the plot just yet.
Also, the characters are behaving brilliantly. Two of them have even created some nice subplots that have the potential to have interesting impacts on the main plot which I wasn't expecting, but that will certainly help to bump up the word count!
