I Hate Windows!
I wrote 1,500 words today, and was determined to keep going and reach the 40k. However, I left my laptop for a couple of minutes to do something else, and when I came back Windows had shut itself down to install some updates it had automatically downloaded. I hadn't saved my work today - I wasn't actually finished yet. Windows shut down in the brief time I was away from my laptop and lost those 1,500 words - I'm at a loss right now how to rewrite them. I want to scream.
There's not much more I can say. I need to go away and calm down, and hopefully remember at least the gist of what I'd written, as it was exactly what the plot needed. Grrrrr...
