Busyness and lack of writing
I've still not found time to write. This is getting silly! The problem is that I've just been so busy this week, so I'm hoping next week things will improve, writing-wise.
Wondering what I've been up to? Here's a quick breakdown:
On Monday evening I could not write because I had to go to the last night of a short course I've been attending. I call it a short course, but there was so much information to cover that the evenings felt quite long! This was related to my church volunteering, but might also be useful for work.
On Tuesday evening Jon and I went to the pub to see friends. I don't think I do enough socialising these days, which is why I sometimes feel isolated when Jon goes away, so this night was really good. I also had a very yummy chocolate fudge cake! :)
On Wednesday evening I attended another course. This one is longer than the other course, and I'll finish just before Christmas. This is also related to my volunteering, but I'm hoping the skills will benefit my everyday life, too.
Last night Jon and I decided to eat in, enjoy a bottle of wine and watch a film together. I don't think we've done this for a while now as we've both been really busy in the evenings, so it was pleasant. We watched America's Sweethearts, if you're curious. :D
Today I planned to do loads of writing, but, again, I've been so busy! I've been volunteering in the morning and Christmas shopping in the afternoon. I'm quite pleased with the pressies I've bought, so I hope the recipients are, too. :)
That means that this weekend I'll have to have a major write-athon to get back on track with the novel! Wish me luck!
