New Novel
It's taken most of the year, but I think I've finally started writing the third of my murder mysteries! It won't be going online any time soon as the dialogue is going to need a lot of work to get just right, but for now it's flowing in the right direction, so yay!
I think all my work on characterisation is paying off; they seem to leap off the page and are doing just what I want them to do (for the moment, at least). I'm quite pleased with how already useful bits of info about certain characters has been imparted without sounding artificial and forced. Although other characters perhaps need to make more of an effort to sound suspicious. ;)
My word count isn't great at the moment, but then I've only spent a bit of time yesterday and today working on it. I think for the next few days I'll continue writing as and when I've a bit of time free, and next week I'll try to be more dedicated. We'll see what happens...
