We saw them!
Last night, Jon and I were lying on a beach looking up at the stars. That's right - we saw the Perseids! The sky was clear and Jon felt better, so we thought we'd see if there was anything left to see, and there was! Yay! :D I didn't take any photos as I thought they were a little too fast for my cameras, so you'll just have to trust me that it was a beautiful sight. Unless you managed to see them, too, in which case you already know!
We were also nearly stepped on by some kids who ran past. I'm not sure what they were doing on a deserted beach (except for us and them) at midnight with no supervising adult, but they didn't seem to be up to any major mischief and they left us alone once they realised we were there.
And, amazingly, I've not been at all tired today. In fact, I've even managed to be very busy and there's new photos available to those with access in the Photo Gallery. But none of last night, of course, sorry.
