Online Shopping Success!
I meant to blog about this ages ago, but I didn't so I'll blog about it now. Back in October, I mentioned I was buying Christmas presents from IWOOT and Yellow Moon, and I said I'd let you know what the service from both of them was like. So, let me tell you how great they both are!
I'd made both orders on a Friday (I think). The IWOOT package came first, on the following Tuesday. Yellow Moon was not far behind, however, and that package arrived on the Wednesday. So, a very prompt service there from both sites! :)
I checked everything out in both packages, and was very pleased with the quality of it all. I've bought things online before that have turned out not to be of the quality stated, but that was certainly not a problem in this case! I'm pleased to say the gifts were all excellent!
The only problem that arose was with the IWOOT parcel. One item was missing a part. This was swiftly resolved after using their Live Help service - they told me they would send out the missing part, free of charge, the next morning.
A few days later, it had still not arrived, so I contacted them again. This time they said the part must have been lost in the post and they had no more spares. But before I began to panic, I was sent a returns label to return the item, again free of charge, and they said they would send a replacement for the entire item. I did as they asked, and a replacement, with no missing parts, was very quickly sent to me!
So, while there was a problem with the IWOOT package, the people in Live Help were professional, helpful and efficient and resolving my complaint, unlike other shopping Websites I could mention. And there were no problems whatsoever with my order from Yellow Moon. I highly recommend both sites if you're looking for an unusual present.
