Christmas Complaining
Grrrr!!!! Having just agreed with my family on what we're getting Dad for Christmas, I've found that it's gone up in price on Amazon - by two-thirds the price!!! Back to the drawing board, then! :(
It's been difficult enough to get to actually find a viable present and all agree on it, so I'm rather annoyed. I live in a different part of the country to everyone else, so we've been discussing this by email, which has added to the delay in a decision. And now I'm getting worried - Christmas is only two weeks away!
And I still haven't sent cards out yet. :S This has been on the top of my to-do list for weeks now, but I've just been so busy with work and other things that I've not had time to sit down and sort it all out. I've no idea when I'll do it at the weekend, as it's going to be a busy one, but it's got to be done ASAP, really! Eek!
Anyhoo, Jon and I had a nice meal out this evening. And now he's back to work. :( I don't really like him working in the evenings, but it looks like it's going to be a regular thing now. Which is a shame...
I must sound like I'm a miserable humbug with all this complaining. Well, I'm not. I'm very pleased about lots of things - Christmas songs and decorations and log fires, for instance. But it's nice to have a little rant every now and then, to get it all out of my system. :P
I'll be more cheerful tomorrow, I promise.
