That Time of Year Again...
I've just done the bulk of my Christmas shopping online! :D Five days earlier than last year, too! Yay!
Last year, after all the hassle I had, I said I'd never use Amazon again, and I'm determined to stick to that resolution! Which means, I've had to be more creative in finding presents this year. The tried-and-trusted IWOOT has provided great inspiration, as usual, and I cannot praise it highly enough! I've also decided to use Yellow Moon this year, partly because of their policy of giving "cashback" from your purchase to a charity or school of your choice, and partly because of the wonderful things available from them! :)
I'll keep you informed about the promptness of delivery and such. Also, for future reference, can anyone tell me what Play.com are like? Basically, do they offer the following: good customer service, fair prices, swift delivery and great products? I'm looking for somewhere to get DVDs and CDs online in future, but I'm still hesitant about trying Play.com out until I've heard about other people's experiences. I don't want any more fiascos like I had with Amazon!
I love sorting out my Christmas shopping early! It gives me the chance to really enjoy the festive season later in the year without having to panic about presents. Christmas shouldn't be a stressful time of year, and by shopping early I can focus on what's really important. :) Although I often get roped into helping someone else with their Christmas shopping, but hey. ;)
