Resolutions, Update 3
I've been really rubbish in September! I have made some progress, but not as much as I'd have liked to. Here's the low-down:
- Get out and do more in our local area:
Haven't done much, I'm afraid. September's been busy and as a result we've not had a lot of time for being active in our local area. We missed the North Devon Arts meeting. We haven't gone to any gigs. And we've been away to family celebrations a lot.
But we have booked tickets to see Feeder in Exeter, which we're looking forward to! Plus, I have arranged to take on more responsibility at places I volunteer with, so that should mean I do more next month.
- Edit MM1 and write the first draft of MM3 (the second in the series):
I've done hardly anything with this one, either, but things have picked up in the last few days. I've edited the first five chapters and will test them out on Jon later this evening.
- Finish the two crochet items I started last year:
Nada. I've been rubbish with this one, haven't I! :(
- Experiment in the kitchen:
I don't think I've found time for any baking or cooking!! How disgraceful!
- Come up with an outline for a series of children's stories:
I had a conversation with a friend, and that has inspired me to get seriously thinking about this, with the aim to look for an agent early next year. I think I know what I plan to do, but I've got to put that plan into action!
So, in conclusion, I really need to knuckle down in October and start getting things done!
