Sacrificing My Sleep
Well, it's happened. My sleeping pattern has once again been disrupted to the point that I lay awake most of the night and feel like a zombie in the morning, but I guess sacrifices must be made for such progress as I've been making.
My latest novel is currently 10,081 words long. :D Three chapters are complete. It seems to be pretty much writing itself right now, but this means I have to let it flow as and when it chooses. Sleep can wait until the novel's finished.
In other news, Jon and I went to Exeter yesterday, where we bought lovely Lush goodies and CDs recommended by my recent music explorations. We also stopped to grab a smoothie each from the fabulous Giraffe, although no free plastic giraffes on this occasion. But hey, the smoothies were fab (Sunrise and Giddy Giraffe, if you're curious).
And now that it's raining heavily, I'd better get running into town. :/ See ya laters!
