The Mystery of The Missing Photos
Last night, I had a catastrophe. I lost about 80 photos!! And I've no idea how it happened, which is really annoying. What if it happens again?
I had the folder containing said photos open, everything was there looking as it should, but then the next moment I checked, the folder was gone, and the folder it should have been in was open instead! Has anyone ever heard of Vista doing something like this before? All I did in the interim was browse a few Websites while the folder was still open but minimised. When I finished Web-browsing, I was going to shut down my laptop, so I maximised the folder to close it, only to find that it was the wrong folder and the one I thought it was had disappeared. I can't think how it could have happened!
It's so frustrating and upsetting, but at least it's not a total loss. I have about 30 of the missing photos (the best ones) backed up elsewhere, but it's such a shame to lose all the others. And I was in quite a panic last night when I discovered the loss!
But, la, the sun is shining and I don't have any work to do. So I shall smile and see what joys today holds. Will report back later...
