Christmas Creations!
This has certainly been a creative week for me! I've not been able to find more pine cones to finish my wreath, but I've done plenty of other things!
Let's start this in backwards order, shall we? Today I made this pretty, simple little purse:
It was a test - I needed to come up with a simple pattern to try to teach to some kids. Not sure how that will go, but I'm pretty pleased with the purse! It will be fastened with velcro, and can hold some loose change, and that's about it. :P
Yesterday, as I hinted, I was also busy making something! To be specific, I made this:
I made another one for the other ear, too. :P I've been thinking about this design for a while. I don't really have any Christmas earrings, and holly seemed a really nice, simple idea for some dangly earrings, but I haven't seen any anywhere, so I thought I'd try making my own. While we were in Exeter yesterday, I bought the materials, and afterwards I had a quick go and voila! They were very quick to make!
Also, during the week I made a very yummy chocolate orange cake. I'd show you a photo of it but there was none left by the time I thought of doing so! Several people who tried it tell me it was delicious, and I think so, too! In fact, I'll be making it again this week!
