Leeds, York, Yarn & Amazon
Jon and I have been to Leeds & York, where we had a fabulous time - thanks guys! We met up with lots of friends (and said hi to a few stone cats), bought chocolate hedgehogs, went to a gig, ate chocolate cake for breakfast, saw The Memory Of Place in York St Mary's, & much, much more! We really enjoyed being back and were quite sad when we finally had to leave.
Having returned home, I have been tidying the lounge (the remnants of various crochet projects were spread out about the room). I have now filled a box (30cm x 36cm) to the brim with all my yarn! Actually, not with all my yarn - what I need for the projects I've yet to complete is in my crochet bag (the one that used to hold all my yarn until it would no longer fit). And the lounge is nearly tidy (I've just got some books to put away & to find a home for my Christmas card-making project). Whew!
Some slightly annoying news is that my final package from Amazon has not arrived. It's way overdue, so I'm going to have to email them today. If it contained a Christmas present, I wouldn't get too stressed over this, but it's got one of Jon's birthday presents in, and that's happening rather soon. :S Bah! I ordered it ages ago - what's taking so long???
I'm going to go and send that email now. Seeyas!
[EDIT ADDED @ 18:36 on 26/10/07] Quadruple BAH! Amazon.co.uk's phone service thingy doesn't work, and they've yet to reply to my email! It may seem like just another complaint to them, but it's important to me that I get it before Jon's birthday!!! I've a sinking feeling that it's not going to happen, somehow. Grr... [/EDIT]
