Phone Line = Dead
Our landline is currently dead. BT at first claimed this was a problem in the house, despite the Internet working (most of the time). The Internet connection drops about 8 times a day at the moment though, so the fault appears to be intermittent. BT must have done their tests at a time when it was all working, briefly, but they've finally admitted there is a problem now and are going to fix it soon.
This is the second problem with the phone line this year! Not good, eh? However, I shouldn't complain too much, because I do know people in Devon who have far worse problems with their phone lines, as they live in the middle of nowhere and the lines are ancient. Guess I'd better look on the bright side for now and wait patiently for BT to fix the line.
