Demolishing Buildings & Wool Woes
Yesterday I watched a building getting demolished. It was sad, yet strangely fascinating. It also didn't look particularly safe, but I presume all the relevant precautions must have been in place, else they couldn't have done it.
It was a gradual process, with bits of the building being knocked off so that the odd brick or two fell at a time, mainly. Watching the windows cave in was quite something, though! It gave me an idea for a story...:)
In other news, the Wool Shop in Barnstaple is closing down. :( Where will I get wool from now? Does anyone know of any good Websites for wool? Help!
I love that shop - it has been so useful in the past year since I took up crochet. I may have to go stock up before they disappear completely, methinks. It will be a sad day when it finally closes its doors for good. :(
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'd better get back to sorting out Christmas presents...:P
