Scary Computer Problems
Like I said in the last post, I've had scary computer problems. How scary? Imagine this scenario:
- I was about to get rid of some Internet cookies when my shiny, new laptop displayed a blue screen of evil and crashed.
- Then it wouldn't do anything at all.
- Eventually I managed to get it to turn on, but before it would do anything it would hang.
- Finally it managed to get to the fixing-itself stage and just turn itself off "before it could do any damage" or something like that.
Today I let Jon have a look. He says he didn't do much, but he did manage to get the computer to fix itself somehow, and everything seems fine now. I hope. I shouldn't be having these problems, though - it's not even six months old!
Ho hum...
