My New Work Bag
Most of my smart work trousers have no pockets. I don't know why the people who design women's smart trousers sometimes to forget to add pockets, but they do, alarmingly often. This is annoying, because I have a key to my office at work, and I need to carry it around with me when I go walkabouts. No pockets means I have to keep it in my hands or in my shoe (and that makes me walk funny).
This needed a speedy solution. I use a rucksack as my work bag so that I can take everything I need to work, including my pack lunch. However, it occurred to me that if I had a smaller bag with a strap I could put over my shoulder as I went walkabouts, this would solve the "where do I put my key" issue, and also help me carry a notepad and pen (always useful!).
So, what did I do? Have I spent all of today searching the shops in town for such a bag to put an end to my key-storing woes? Nope. Instead, I made one! I designed it all myself, too! See:

It's just the size and shape I need, the strap is just the right length, and I love the colours! All this for less than a pound, too! Crochet rocks! :D:D:D
