Shopping Adventures!
I did go shopping today. I decided I deserve some new clothes. Although I obviously don't deserve new shoes just yet, because the only shoes I liked the look of were £45! Perhaps that's something I can treat myself to with my first month's pay at my new job...
I mostly bought stuff from charity shops - it was all very nice for a fraction of the original price, and all the money goes to a good cause! :) I now have a(nother) very comfy, purple jumper, a smart purple top and smart grey trousers. I also nosed in a new book shop in town, but nothing particularly caught my eye, so no new books at the moment. This is probably a good thing, as I think my shelves are all full. But I loves new books!!
I didn't buy the dress I mentioned in my last post, although it turned out that the price was not the problem. Sensibly, I tried it on first, and getting into the damn thing was such a pain! I thought it undid down the front, but that was all mere decoration. It's a tight-fitting dress, so it took about ten minutes to pull over my head! I don't care how good I looked when I finally had it on properly, I'm not someone who enjoys wrestling with my clothes. :P
We also had a delivery in the post this morning from Amazon, so our evenings are fully booked for at least a week now. ;) Thank you, Donald!
