A Brilliant Bank Holiday Weekend!
We had glorious weather this bank holiday. I've actually tanned! Seriously! :D We also managed two barbecues, a trip to the pub and a trip to the beach! It's been a lot of fun.
Tomothy arrived on Saturday for the first barbecue and to stay the whole weekend. We had homemade burgers and chicken with cider and Beaujolais (not together, obviously). :) He and Jon geeked a lot on Sunday and Monday during the day, and we went to enjoy the sun in a nearby beer garden on Sunday, and then enjoyed the evening with takeaway, more cider and wine, and a film (SpaceBalls).
On Monday another of Jon's mates joined us and we all went to the beach for some frisbee, although I mostly just strolled along the edge of the sea, getting my trousers soaked. I also took lots of photos, although my camera seems to have stopped working now. :( I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
After some time at the beach, we returned for the second barbecue, with more cider and wine and some sausages and burgers. It was delicious. :)
And today I have been busy taking photos (on Jon's camera) of butterflies and getting ready for meeting up with some friends. I can't wait to see peeps! :D
