Ahead Of Schedule
This week has been going really well so far! I've made much better progress than I thought I would! I'm even ahead of schedule! Let me go through the points on the list of things to do I made yesterday:
I have cleaned and tidied the house really well! There are a few things here and there to sort out, the kitchen will be cleaned when I've finished making various nibbles, and I'd like the bedroom to be tidier, but that is all easily achieved in the three days left. :)
I have already finished one of the books I've been reading, and the end of Martin Chuzzlewit is in sight! This means I'll have finished three books so far this month by Saturday evening, or possibly sooner than that!
I have decided to bake brownies tomorrow, instead of on Friday, as I managed to get so many of tomorrow's duties sorted today. I have also already made the ice cream, which is scrumptious. :D The Teriyaki Chicken Bites will either be prepared on Friday night or Saturday morning, depending on time.
I have already bought some wrapping paper and done the necessary wrapping of belated birthday pressies. On Friday, I shall pop into town for the fruit, meat and bread, and also for some more wrapping paper (we had completely ran out, so I'd like to restock).
The novel currently stands at 61,021 words. There could be as much as 10,073 more words to write, but it's probably closer to 8k, I reckon. There are eight chapters left to work on, and, since I managed five today (nearly 6k words!), that does not looked like any big problem. :D
