Preparations for the Scottish Invasion!
Before Saturday evening, I have to:
- Clean & tidy the house;
- Finish reading Martin Chuzzlewit and another book I am currently reading;
- Bake brownies;
- Make ice cream;
- Make Teriyaki Chicken Bites;
- Buy fruit, sausages, bread and wrapping paper from town;
- Finish writing my latest novel.
I think that's everything, and I think it's manageable. I'm over two thirds of the way through Martin Chuzzlewit and am three quarters the way through the other book. I only need another 5k to reach my target of 60,000 words for my own novel, although that may exceed 70,000 words the way it is currently growing, but that would not be impossible to achieve in the time I have left.
I plan to make the ice cream tomorrow, but only time will tell if I actually succeed with that challenge. I think that's the only thing that might end up not happening, but I will try my best, I promise!
