The Weekend's Accomplishments
I know, I know, I've been quiet, but I've been busy, too. I have read more than half of Martin Chuzzlewit now, and I have also started to read two other books. I hope to finish two of the three by Saturday evening.
I have also made one side of my top. It does not look too bad a fit, surprisingly, so now I just need the other side and sleeves, and then we'll see if I can fit it all together...;)
My novel currently stands as 47,830 words. I was meant to take it over 50k yesterday, but I didn't work on it at all. Today I hope to catch up, but I also have some washing to sort out and the upstairs bathroom to clean. *sigh* Why is housework so boring and yet essential?
My reason for not working on my novel yesterday? I guess it was due to the excursion Jon and I made to Woolacombe, to sample some of the delights of Creation Fest, which was very enjoyable, although we could not stay very long.
All the above, and visits from two of Jon's friends pretty much sums up the weekend. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some washing to check on before diving headfirst back into my novel...
