What Have I Been Up To?
Moments after my last post, thunder echoed through the air. There was lightning, too! And yet now it is a lovely, sunny summer evening.
I haven't baked today, but, if I find time to get the necessary ingredients, I may do so tomorrow afternoon. :) Anyone who wants brownies should get themselves down here before then and lend a hand! ;)
Instead, I finally got to work on my latest crochet project - I think I managed to get the tension right this time! I simply got on with it and didn't worry about whether it would be ok, and it was fine, so I've begun making myself a jumper. It might end up a little too small, but if that's the case, I can just unravel it and start again, eh? Or give it away, p'raps.
Also, I finished Barnaby Rudge. :) That's the third book so far this month, and I'm doing well with the Bill Bryson one, too, so I think I'll have a nice long list at the end of this month. I wonder which Dickens book I'll read next.
Anyway, Jon's back and we're apparently eating out. He liked the flowers I made him, and he was surprised to hear what they were made of! If you haven't followed the link I gave in my last post yet, then do so! They're easy and quick to make, and look really good!
Bye4now!
