What I'm Reading
I haven't posted in a while. I guess I've been busy. I didn't even turn on the computer yesterday, and today I only did so around 4.30pm. This is most unlike me!
So, what have I been doing? Uh, good question. For the most part, you'll have to wait and see...:P
What I can tell you is that I've found the time and money to buy some new books. Bill Bryson's latest book is, as always, a pleasure to read, and has already caused much mirth and amusement (including excerpts being read aloud to Jon), although I've still not finished the first chapter! You'll have to wait until the end of the month to find out what the other books are. I bought three, and have completed one of these already (two days, four readings).
Also, my Dickens marathon has finally resumed at a satisfactory pace! I am almost halfway through Barnaby Rudge now. I do find this book fascinating, but it really does require more attention than I have been able to give it until recently (as this is my second reading, I'm keeping my eyes open for things I may have missed the first time round as well as for writing tips).
And so! Lots to do! Will blog again soon, although not sure when. Sadly, I'm away tomorrow for far too long, and I'm busy on Saturday, too. :( Perhaps on Sunday I shall have some pleasant news for yous...
