The Seamstress' Progress
The Seamstress is fitting in nicely. There's one or two things I'm not entirely keen about with Vista, but on the whole she's able to do everything I want and more! I even made my Mum's Mothers' Day card on her - Paint Shop Pro Photo XI has been quite easy to get the hang of! It is sooo nice to no longer have to fight for five minutes on Jon's PC whenever I want to do something arty!
Music-wise, I'm happy with how she sounds, and writing-wise, Open Office seems to be behaving. This is good! I'm also pleased with the sidebar that allows me to view my photos in random order and the weather thingy that tells me what it's like anywhere in the world that I wish to inquire about. I will test her film-watching abilities later this evening...
In related news, The Seamstress' new quarters (her case) arrived today. It's very funky - with wheels and everything! I am going to enjoy carting her round in style! It needs a few "modifications" to its appearance to be perfect, but I'm very impressed with what I got fo under £20! Good ol' Ebuyer!
Now I must go eat - sadly, The Seamstress can't cook, so I have to do that myself...
