Birthday Boy!
I think it's about time I plugged one of my favourite shops: Birthday Boy. They have two shops in Devon, and you can also make purchases on their website, "by phone, fax or e-mail, snail-mail or pigeon post". I always go to one of their shops, and they have always had fab ideas and been very friendly.
The reason why I think I owe them a plug, is due to just how friendly and helpful they've been this past year. Allow me to explain:
For Valentine's Day, I bought Jon presents with a theme - they were all red. However, Birthday Boy had just sold out of one of the red presents I intended to buy! The staff there saved the day, though, by making a few phone calls, and, lo, Jon did indeed receive this car for V Day.
And since February, they have done this for me numerous times. All I have to do is ask about a certain product and if it's not in stock in that shop, they'll check if it's available elsewhere and make arrangements that I can get it, if it is. And they are always so nice to talk to! :)
