Creative Autumn
Happy All Saints' Day, folks!
Today I made Jon's birthday card. It's quite cool, methinx. :) I'm pleased that it turned out pretty much as I'd hoped. So, woo!
I also intended to sort out some photos of the blanket-making process for people to see, but Jon came back from the dentist's before I could get round to that. Maybe I'll get a chance to do so later (today or this week); we shall see. Anyways, that's something for you to look forward to!
For those I haven't told, the bulk of the blanket is complete, and next I get to make a border for it. I am very impressed that I've managed to make a baby blanket! Thanks, Lorna, for all the help!
Once this is finished, I'll have to think of another project to work on. I'll continue editing my other novel, of course, but I want something new to start. Wonder what I'll come up with...
To all those currently starting their NaNo-craziness: Good luck! I would join you, but having just finished one novel last month (and one in August), I think it would be insane to attempt to write another so soon...
Today has been a pretty day and now the sun is setting and making the clouds a orangey-golden colour. :) I love autumn.
