Preparations Over
I have cleaned the house! Everything is set (except a few bits of washing up and a change of bedclothes, but they're minor things). Now all I need to do is make sure that I'm awake and dressed by the time my parents get here! Oh, and some sort of agenda would be a good plan...
I've been reading The Pickwick Papers some more today. I'm doing better than my last attempt, and it's not been as bad as I expected, but it's still not the same quality as any of Dickens' other novels that I've read. Having said that, I'm up to the chapter where it ought to get more interesting, because a certain popular character (or so I've heard) is about to be introduced.
I ought have written more of my new novel today, in preparation for the utter lack of novel-writing I'll do over the weekend. Shame on me! Too late now, though. Guess it'll just have to wait until Sunday evening.
I have, however, finished the 'bedtime reading' I was given on Thursday and it thoroughly rocked. :)
