Bedtime Reading & More...
Tonight we were given some 'bedtime reading'. It's all about serial killers. :) This ought to go nicely with The Life & Characters of Dickens, The Pickwick Papers and Correct English.
I can remember having a number of books on my bedside table with bookmarks in various places way back when I was in my early teens (the practice may reach even further back than that, but I cannot be certain). I like to have a variety of things to read, and I've never gotten confused between what happened in what book (well, not yet, anyway).
I suppose I'm currently writing books in the same way I read them. The latest novel I'm writing is slowly happening (currently at 9,026 words), and the one I wrote back in August is about halfway through its first major edit. Makes life a little interesting, I guess, although it makes it rather hectic, too.
I have no idea where I find the time to read and write as much as I do of late, but I seem to cope ok. I've not done too badly with the house-cleaning schedule.I am satisfied with the state of the bedroom, for now, at least.
By the end of tomorrow, I hope to have every room in the house clean and tidy. This includes a major scrubbing of the bathrooms and kitchen, new towels issued and eradicating every last microscopic piece of dust. There will also be vacuuming, but that's one of Jon's jobs. I'm allergic to vacuuming, it gives me migraines.
And now for bed... g'night!
