Duncan Sheik
Does anyone reading this know the music of Duncan Sheik? I'd really appreciate an opinion from someone I know, as I've read a few reviews but they're not very useful.
The album I am thinking of getting (when I have money) is "Humming" - is this any good? Since I've no idea what his music is usually like, I'm not fussed whether it's typical Duncan Sheik or not. The reason for my sudden interest is we were watching "Three To Tango" last night (yes, I have it on DVD - I'll give you one guess why) and I really like his song "That Says It All" that is used in this film.
I went to Amazon to check out the soundtrack, but I'm not overly keen on swing, which the majority of the soundtrack is. So I found Duncan Sheik's album "Humming" and listened to the snippets there. However, I really don't think 30 seconds is enough to determine whether you like a song or not and I don't have a lot of money right now to waste on CDs I'm not sure I'll like.
If anyone has this album and can lend it to me, that would be fab. However, if this is not possible, it'd be great if you could let me know what you think of it. Thanks!
