Blood Red Clouds...
The clouds were blood red earlier. I got a couple of photos. It looked very cool and Armageddon-ish.
Jon's just back from his slimming club, so we'd better head to Tesco's now. I know it's late, but we haven't had dinner yet and I've been too busy writing to stock the fridge!
I wrote about 10k words today! My story currently stands at 23,177 words, 102 (A5) pages and 21 chapters.
I'm not sure if this is going to reach novel lengths, or if it will settle as a novella. Will have to wait and see how many words the material yields. The general rule of thumb is that a short story can be up to 20k words, a novella between 20k-50k, and a novel anything above 50k.
I just found a website that claims that the word 'novella' comes from the Italian word for story, which literally translates as "new little thing" - I like that. :) Don't know if it's true or not, though...
Anyway, gotta go - hunger strikes! Ta-ra!
