Writing is HARD
It's true. But rewriting is harder. And don't get me started on trying to cut the word limit down!
Ah well, it's all part of improving. Which is why I have decided that, as well as writing new short stories, I will be editing old ones, too. Then I can pick the best to enter into competitions.
The weekend was fab. Woodstock was good fun, and it was so good to see old friends again! There was some sadness (check out the Cats In York website over the next few days), but mostly lots of happiness with old friends and new (for new, again, see the Cats In York site of the coming week!).
Now we're back, and this week is hectic. New stories, old stories, job applications and interviews... writing IS hard!
