A Bouncy Castle, Sumo Wrestling & LOTS of FUN!
Jon and I had a busy weekend. On Saturday it was the school fair. There was a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling in fat suits, a band, Punch & Judy and lots more! Also, the children had made cards to sell, which were really good!
On top of this, there was fairtrade chocolate cake, which was absolutely delicious! I only wish I'd bought more slices before it ran out. Mmm... chocolate...
We also walked into town before the fair to buy fruit from the market and get some fresh bread and sausages, too. Then we cycled to the fair. My legs ached a LOT when we finally went to bed that night.
I've already told you all about watching Eurovision while babysitting in my previous entry, so I won't repeat myself. That was enjoyable, too.
Sunday, however, was not so good. I planned to write these two posts, and make some ginger beer. Instead I stayed in bed with a sore throat and headache. :( I'm a little better today, well, not ill enough to stay away from work at any rate. I think I've passed whatever I've got on to Jon, now, too.
It's a good thing halfterm is close at hand, eh? Oh, the joys of working in a school!
Atchoo!
