Hurrah!!
The laptop has a new adapter! Hurrah!! It is useable once more! I have been itching to get on with some novel-writing for a while, but since the last adapter gave up the ghost, this has proved impossible.
All of my writing exists on this laptop. I'm sure I have back-ups copies somewhere, but what's the use in that when I have nothing to work on? Jon's computer's a no-go as he's so busy with work, and I don't get any time at work for my writing (it's different being an ICT Technician to being a receptionist, tee-hee!).
I haven't been completely idle creative-wise while the laptop was out of action. I have written bits of poetry with pen and paper every now and then, which has helped me get back into my writing flow. However, this has only worsened the sorrow when I thought of my poor novels languishing! I have been so eager to get on with writing them!!
So, three cheers for the laptop's new lease of life! On with the novels! Um, tomorrow, that is... honest!
