Cats In York!
Jon and I are proud to announce the launch of the Cats In York website! We have been working on this for quite a while now, and are very pleased with it.
Allow me to explain...
In York there are many cat statuettes dotted around the city, and some in surrounding villages. Jon and I became quite fascinated with them, but discovered that information on them was rather scarce. So, while still in York, we did lots of research, used the microfilm and microfiche in the library, contacted various people, including the wonderful Tom Adams, and collated all the info we could find. We also made up our own Cat Hunt for people who want to explore the city and find the cats for themselves. Now we have uploaded everything we know onto the new website for anyone who might be interested in the cats in York!
