MMMmmmMerton!
Our friend Merton visited us this weekend. Merton is cool. Merton plays bass. Therefore, Merton is sexy. I love Merton. (If his girlfriend reads this, only in a platonic way, honest!) It was really fab to see him. :)
And he gave us a house-warming gift! And it's a clock! :D Merton has good taste. He also liked the piggy speakers we got him as a late birthday pressie.
It's been a fun weekend. We nearly went ice-skating (except it wasn't ice, and it was so tiny and full of kids we decided against it), we looked for otters (not real ones, though), we had a lovely Italian meal, we saw a band, we watched The Incredibles (again), we looked at nice cars, and we went to an exhibition on wind farms, as well as going to a proposed site to admire the excellent views. I hope he enjoyed his stay as much as we enjoyed his company.
And now he's gone. :( I miss my friends. You all rock.
