Wherein I Sound Organised, But Am Not.
My aims for the week are:
1) Finish my NaNo novel before Merton arrives on Friday. This means writing at least 18,248 words, which is easily doable over six days! The reasons for this is that I'm getting bored of the challenge now. This really isn't the time for me to be doing this, but I would really like to be able to say I wrote two novels in 2005, and be on the NaNo Halls of Fame thing. Call it an ego boost, if you will.
2) Apply for a job as nursery nurse at the nearby school. The chances of me getting it are highly remote (due to my lack of nursery nurse/childcare qualifications) but they might want me as a TA, and that would rock.
3) Go and inquire about that writing group. Meeting local writers would be a GOOD thing for me, especially if I can tell them I've completed two novels this year.
4) Begin the quest for a new bank/building society. I need to get my money sorted quickly. I am mightily fed up of NatWest.
