Mmm... Shortbread...
I don't have a lot of money right now. Still, that didn't stop me spotting a bargain in the Cat Protection Shop yesterday - a Biscuit Recipe Book! Yes, I have a few of these, but there were different recipes (lots), and it was only £1.50 when it should have been £12.99!
AND, thanx to this wonderful book I have found a recipe for Dutch Shortbread that only cost me 82p to make! Well, the butter cost 82p and I had all the other ingredients, so their cost doesn't count. After all, if I don't use them before their Best Before Date, THAT would be a waste of my money!
So I am happy. I have just baked Dutch Shortbread. They should be ready to come out of the oven at any moment. I love baking. :)
Oooh! Timer! No, not ready yet, just a few more minutes. I like it when I get everything I need to do in a day done, plus have time for baking. Such a day is bliss.
