A Day Of Cats!
So, today Jon and I got up early to finish off our research at the library. This went well and we now have lots of useful info, as well as the names of a few people to contact. Using those machines is so fun!
Next, we took a photo of a cat, and then went for a walk to see where I'm working next week. It's a 15 min walk, which isn't bad. We discovered some cool artwork nearby, so Jon took some more photos. Then we headed back to the flat and took some more photos of cats along the way.
We stopped in the Cat Protection Charity Shop, where we bought two cookery books cheaply (I may make some shortbread soon, if I have all the ingredients), and I also found a cool pressie for a member of my family.
Then we got back to the flat. Cat-like wailing could be heard from upstairs. I thought I should go upstairs and ask them to stop hurting the poor creature, but Jon insists that's the guy singing. In which case, could he please stop torturing us??
I did lots of productive stuff (as well as some time-wasting stuff - for those who know what I'm talking about, isn't the Cheat rather cat-esque?) this afternoon, and then did some cat-related writing this evening.
What a busy and fun cat-filled day!
