The Joys of Microfilm & Microfiche
Woo! Jon and I have just spent two brilliant hours in York City Library, looking at microfilm and microfiche. It is so fun, although I prefer microfilm to microfiche, as we were able to make quite big, easy-to-read copies with that. We're going back tomorrow to finish off our research. Then we have some letters/emails/phone calls to write/make. We plan to have the project complete by the time we leave York, so you won't have too long to wait to find out what we're up to...
Apart from that, today has been productive. I have enough in my bank account for rent, I have a week's work starting on Monday, I've emailed re funding, and I have heard back about volunteering. Go me!
