Murder, Birthdays & School (AKA Last Night's Dreams)
Still not a lot to say. I decided to have a long, relaxing bath to try to break the spell, but not much has changed. I need motivation. It doesn't help that there are loud noises above our bedroom when I go to bed, and then I get woken up early by music. Who plays loud music before going to work in the morning??
Oh, and then there are the dreams. The dreams tire me out, as though they really were happening. I don't like this. It's worse than the actual content of the dreams, although that can also be quite disturbing...
The first dream of last night was about a grisly murder. Very vivid, as I recall. I woke myself up because it was so horrid and cuddled a sleeping Jon for a while to calm myself down. I don't remember much about it now, except... I think it was something myself and others were watching on TV in the dream, and then my mind decided that I ought to be part of it somehow. Flashes are coming back to me, but nothing coherent.
The second one was about birthdays. It was May. I knew this because it was Marie's birthday. I have a freaky ability to remember birthdays, and it seems to have leaked into my dreams. Anyway, then it went weird, and more people had birthdays, including Marie's NYM, possibly. And then, I think, it was mine (how time passed so fast, I cannot say). There was a film and summat on TV I wanted to see, so we were going to Marie's. I recall thinking it would be better to go to the cinema and let them celebrate Valentine's Day by themselves. I also remember clearly seeing a TV listings, but I can't remember anything that was supposedly on.
The third and last dream I remember went like this: I went back to Chennestone School. It was early morning-ish. There was a reason for this, which was not entirely clear throughout, but I knew I had to go back. The back gate was open (it's usually locked during school to stop children escaping and anyone else getting in) - Mrs Webberly (not sure on spelling, it's been a long time, but she was the scary secretary who wasn't actually scary in the dream, but also disappeared soon enough) was about to lock it. I went in after her, into the office. Everyone was pleased to see me, as though they had been looking forward to it, although I knew I hadn't told them of my plans to visit. I was given a badge to write my name on, but when when I put it on my name didn't show.
Mrs Smith was in the office. She said something about helping out after lunchtime. I was about to object that I couldn't wait that long when suddenly it was lunchtime. Lots of teachers came and sat in the office (which, by the way, was pretty much how it had been when I went there, only bigger, to accommodate all the people). For some reason my cousin Kevin was there, as a teacher. He found me some lunch (all I remember is eating paper but I didn't think this odd). After lunch I was to join a class as an assistant, but I still didn't know which class. I followed the teachers out of the office, and a teacher dropped down from a hole in the ceiling (not as crazy as it sounds, it was similar to my experience at Sunbury Manor School, which I won't go into here). She got told off by someone I presumed to be the headteacher.
That's it. Oh, and I remember walking along walls (city walls, not house walls), and something else... but it's gone.
WHY? I need sleep...
