Sheffield: The Truth
I have tidied the house (honest) (sort of). Now I feel ready for my mother and brother to appear as if from nowhere. As long as they don't go anywhere near the bedroom, that is...
Yesterday was a nice day in Sheffield. It's not as bad a city as I used to fear it was. Y'see, in my first year at uni I lived with someone who lived near Sheffield and told such scary stories that I cannot possibly repeat here. But they involved horses and corpses and such. :S
Needless to say, they must all be lies. It's just that guy's family I ought to avoid. Sheffield may not be as lovely as York, but it is a nice place to visit. Although, admittedly, I didn't see much of it, as we spent most of the time in The Showroom having lunch and drinks and chatting. :)
I hope you and your wife liked the brownies, Vigo! Thanks for the books - I relish dumping them in Jonnie's lap later today... *laughs wickedly*
