Piercing Ears & Melting Mobiles
Yesterday mainly consisted of chatting to Simon online and meeting up with Steve before he leaves York. Both of these events were fun. :)
One particular cause of amusement came from Google, more specifically, from Google's Language Tools Page. For instance, my post "Where Can You See Lions?", when translated into Spanish and back into English using the above mentioned online tool, became:
"That one was diversion. I have never had a food in a restaurant with a lion and a ghost before. Absolutely an entertained experience. I was not able to speak with each one, but that I enjoyed the company and conversation of those. In the set, it had a good afternoon. I wait for if you were there, you, also!"
Also, the first two lines of the post entitled "Ow!" became (I think using French):
"I have my piercing ears. My objectives during this year are at least halfway accomplished."
Which I think is suitably sinister. Damn, I want some "piercing ears" now!
Anyway, that was silly.
Message to Steve: good luck, congrats and enjoy your pressies! And keep that mobile phone out of the sun!!! ;)
