How To Get Ahead In Business
Today, I wrote another 1,000 words at work, and thus have the complete short story/first chapter written. All 2,629 words of it! The question now is, should I turn this into a novel?
Basically, the premise is to teach people a thing or two about my opinions on good business (oh, because I know so much! :P) in an entertaining novel, where they might not realise immediately what the real message is. It's not based on where I work, but that's where I got the idea from (basically, it was the sun's fault, distorting my view).
I have put up the short story as it is in the Writing Section, so log in and read, please! I'd love to hear what you think! How To Get Ahead In Business is a working title, but it's growing on me. The other idea I had was A Good Head For Business, but I'm not so sure about that one, now. Let me know what you think about these titles, too, please, once you've read it.
In other news, my hair's still fab! And Ollie and the 'other one' have been getting to know one another on the window sill.
And now I can relax...
