Slater's Fairy
Ok, I don't know if I've mentioned this in News yet or not, but it's worthing repeating, if I have.
The FANTASTIC caricature of myself that you see in every header on this website was drawn by Slater, who can be found at the weekends in King's Square, York, drawing people. The original hangs upon the wall in my lounge, next to my framed poem that was beautifully illustrated by Donald's Dad (what a fab bloke, too!).
Slater is a lovely man and a talented artist, whom I highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting a caricature done whilst in York. And not just because he gave me permission to use the image on my website! I have had my caricature done by both men who offer this service on York's streets, and I can honestly tell you that if you want one done, you ought to get yourself to King's Square.
Go on. You know you want one!
