Writing News

Progress is definitely being made. Not as fast as I hoped, but it's picking up! I have decided to stick with Option 2 - the Internet story. It is flowing really well right now, and the other option needs far too much research, I've found.

The story as of last night stood at 3,174 words, but I've already written loads today! It's really swinging now, people, so hopefully I'll start catching up with my aims! Hopefully I will update the story later tonight, but this takes time and effort and I'm usually tired after all the writing that I've done, so we'll see.

Yesterday I also rewrote one scene that I wasn't entirely happy with. I know I shouldn't be editing yet, but it needed it, so there! If you've already read what I've got so far, do read again, and if not, please go read it now! I really would love to hear what people think and I need all the encouragement I can get!

One last thing on JoNoWriMo, advance apologies: Jon and I are in Devon with very limited Internet access, so I won't be able to update the JoNoWriMo pages as often as I'd like. But I'll try to do what I can, and I'll keep a sort of diary to update to the news so you know how it goes. Not sure how long we're here, but we'll be back in York by the weekend at the latest, I think.

In other news, I can't wait to read the missing scenes from Marie's novel! I thought it was odd how the story cut off like that... now I get to see what happened in vivid detail! For those who know Marie and haven't yet read her novel, I highly recommend it! And if any publishers happen to read this (in my dreams!) - publish it now!!!!

Finally, I was sad to hear of the Pope's death on the news on Saturday night, but also glad that his suffering is finally over. May God have mercy upon his soul and bless him with the riches of Heaven.
