The First Day
It's actually 1am on 2nd April, but I altered the date just because. The first day has been HARD. I am too tired now to put the writing online, so will do so when I wake up in the morning. For now, you may read my progress.
I started writing more for the story I announced I'd write this month, but it was just not forthcoming! I am really worried about this! :(
Then I had to go to Harrods in London with my Mum to get myself new shoes and a fancy new hair thing for Phil's wedding. Yay! Thank you, Phil, for getting married in June!
*ahem*
After getting back I managed to write quite a bit for the other story, which buoyed me up until realising it still wasn't as much as I intended.
So, this evening after dinner and Roald Dahl Trumps, I wrote up what I'd written for both onto my PDA (with the stylus - it recognised my writing really well!). I was also able to add a bit more to both.
The one I hope to make a novel stands at around 1,000 words (half my intended for tonight). The other is about 1,300 words. Not good enough, but a start, I s'pose.
Can I do this? Will I have a novel complete in a month's time? I don't know. Right now it doesn't look good. But I hope and I try.
I will keep writing them both over the weekend and see which one takes off, I think. It's no point continuing with one if it really isn't going to flow right now, but at the same time, I ought to give them both a chance and see.
