JoNoWriMo
It has begun! Today is the 1st day of Jo's Novel Writing Month - JoNoWriMo for short.
The plan is to write approx 2,000 words a day, but if I write more than that some days, cool. That gives me space if on other days I have a block... By the end of the 30 days I should have a full, complete novel of around 60,000 words.
Thanks for all the feedback from peeps, especially for Marie's encouragement and tips from her NaNoWriMo experience! I hope my novel's as good as yours (yeah, I wish!).
I have decided, after MUCH agonsing, that I will attempt to make the first idea (detective/fantasy) into a novel. I'm just more curious about that idea, I s'pose. Although it was close between that, the Internet story and the fairy coming-of-age one. In fact, today I may try writing some of the Internet one, just to be sure I've made the right decision...:P
I'll post again in the evening with an update and will have the day's efforts in the Writing section, so make sure you take a look!

In other news, last night I met up with old friends in the pub. It was fun. Wish I was able to meet with you all more often!
